Segway-Ninebot have saved some of their best products for children! The ZING E8 eKickScooter mixes fun vibrant colours on the outside, with tried and tested, safe electronics on the inside. Designed for kids over 6 years old, it is suitable for children between 4 and 5ft in height.
The scooter is powered up by a press of the button and can be switched between three modes with a tap of that same button. Turbo mode allows kids to power up to 8.7mph via the thumb throttle. Cruise puts the scooter in an assisted kick mode where every push gets you further than a manual scooter. Lastly, safe mode limits the top speed to just 6.2mph, allowing kids to master the essentials of riding. The 55Wh battery provides around 10km range and is charged in just 4 hours.
The ZING E8 is equipped with a high-performance electronic braking system with an energy recovery function, the rear fender also doubles as a friction brake for redundancy.
Sat just 10cm from the ground, the scooter is designed with a low centre of gravity, aiding stability and control for younger riders. Weighing just 7.9kg it can be quickly folded via the pedal and easily carried or slipped into the boot of small cars.
The body of the scooter is constructed of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, providing great strength to a lightweight scooter. Solid, long lasting rubber tyres ensure your child will never have to deal with punctures whilst offering good traction. These are paired with a 40mm shock absorber on the front fork to smooth out the ride.
Thermoplastic rubber hand grips are tough enough to survive rough play whilst being easy to clean and maintain. Note that whilst the scooter has an IPX4 rating, it isn’t waterproof and should not be ridden through puddles.
