After my first 2 weeks

The scooter is good, quite powerful and goes pretty fast. U will get 30kpm once u put it into sportsmode, which is the only mode a adult can really use as the others are a little too soft unless your on a perfectly flat surface. Its a quality bit of kit i wouldnt pay the £670 asking price its definitely not worth that much. My honest opinion is the suspension and breaks are not good enough.Rear Disk breaks and better suspension is needed. You will need WD40 for suspension after riding a few days. My other issues are with the app software, i dont know why but the scooter will not switch off after charging automatically. It instead switches on an starts consuming power with lights on. So u need to basically unplug it as it hits 100% which is absurd an seems to be a option segway removed from the app going by older comments iv seen. However this is just a software thing an im sure they will likely update it... Hopefully. With 2 batterys the es4 is quite heavy. Not something a female would find comfortable carrying upstairs. I do it fine but its not "light" the LED lighting is cool, not many options though. So u cant have a fixed colour on constant they are all moving options which i find annoying personally. Its not as easy to walk around with once folded down. They make it look easy on videos but as someone who commutes london bouncing between trains its not that simple. Itheres 2 positions u can wheel it from an both are uncomfortable for long periods. I end up just not folding it away an wheeling it anyway in rush hour. All in all it does a great job for what i personally need it for which is a 2 mile walk with no public transport so i do 4miles per day on the scooter. I think its a great device, the app is a nice touch, the lock feature is good although u cannot switch off the scooter in lock mode which again seems to be a segway software thing as sone models u can some u cant. Not sure why theres diff options on diff products on things like this. like i said suspension and breaks are where i would "improve" initially. But all in all im happy with it, unfortunately it is not waterproof. It is only IP54 which is merely "splash proof" this is quite a downside if like me u live in the UK. However i have been riding in the rain an its been fine so far but i wouldnt recommend this. Mainly a case of it started raining an i had no choice. Id recommend crash helmet and hi visability vest while driving. If your looking for a electric scooter i would recommend this over the xiomi 365 pro, the segway is much faster and looks more expensive. Its a quality bit of it kit really is. £500 is fair price but no more. Aim for 400-500 if u can find a sale an ul be very happy. Ul also need to buy a bell. But good look finding one that fits the handle bars haha. Very happy with the scooter an thats my honest review. Next test is how long it lasts!

The Segway Ninebot ES4 Electric Scooter Bundle in detail

The Ninebot ES4 is the perfect upgrade to the standard ES2 scooter. With a higher powered battery you can expect a longer range and higher top speed from the standard model.

The higher powered battery allow for speeds of up to 30km/h and a 45km range. Unlike other manufacturers, A cruise control option is also featured for even more rider comfort and convenience.

With its folding design and weight of just over 14KG, the ES4 is easy to carry and able to easily fit in car boots or travel bags. A dedicated smart phone App allows to control many of the scooters features such as the lights, cruise control as well as displaying useful information such as tutorials and scooter condition diagnostics.

Please note. Installation of the higher power battery is required (instructions included).
